Amahi Forums

I just purchased and installed Transmission to use on my Amahi server and have been using it for a couple of days now. I see some references online about being able to use the web gui remotely, but i don't see any such information in the settings of Transmission, in the wiki article or on the forums here. Is remote use of Transmission on Amahi possible? If so, does anyone have a step by step guide to enabling remote use of transmission? I'm still a beginner at using the linux command line for this type of thing, if that's what this requires.

What you are asking to do is an advanced capability. We typically don't recommend inexperienced users do these sort of tasks. You could break your HDA and our support will be limited.

I'm not going to try it. It definitely sounds to advanced for me, and there are too many what-ifs. I was just hoping there was some feature similar to Subsonic, with remote access built in. Now that i think of it though, subsonic runs mostly off of subsonic servers. i think. Thanks anyways.
