Hi @jehali,
Upon checking, it looks as if our API is not detecting upgraded HDAs properly.
Can you refresh the Setup > Apps > Available page and see if you see it now?

Hi, totally new to Amahi (and Linux) but I have just upgraded from a clean install of Amahi 7 to 8 and I also see no Add button, nor any reference to it in any of the installed or available apps, could you offer some advice as I need to add a new storage drive as I'm attempting to set this all up for the first time

Your best bet is to email support. This is a manual method for adding disks, but might not be a good idea for someone new to Linux.
If you are interested in looking at it, please refer to the
adding a second hard drive to your HDA in the wiki.
