I upgraded to Amahi 8 and things started to go down hill real fast. So I decided to do a clean install but now ZoneMinder is no longer available to me for install.

Can someone give me access to this app please.

Sorry but Zoneminder is not LIVE for Amah 8 as it's not quite ready.

Once we are ready to test it, would you like to assist? If so please PM me your amahi.org user name.

It's not working in Amahi 8.

Sorry but it's not currently on the list to be worked.

Amahi 9 has not been released yet. We are BETA testing.

Upgrading will not move ZoneMinder up the list to be worked. It's one of those apps that very few users install.

If you would like to help work it, we can give you access. This would require some Linux skills and ability to update the App install scripts. This is by no means an install and test scenario with this one.

I just want to add my "vote" to getting ZoneMinder on Amahi 8.
I have chosen Amahi specifically because it had the ZoneMinder application. That was, of course, in version 7.

Unfortunately, I don't have any Linux skills to help with the development/testing or I would lend a hand. :(

I hope the effort gets re-started or another home NVR app is offered.

Thanks!

In case you were not aware, this thread is closed.

We are not updating or releasing any apps for Fedora 21/Amahi 8. The only officially supported release is Amahi 9 on Fedora 23.

Unfortunately, Zoneminder is an app that does not behave well with Fedora, so it may be a while before we can get it working.

It is on the list, but not our top priority at the moment.

Hope this helps clarify.
