Re: Remote Wake-On-LAN Server
I did take a look at the screenshots. I think a very important thing is making sure our look does not wreck that the app is responsive. It works really well on my phone and I think other users would appreciate that. So within those bounds lets dress it up. Go for the buttons. I think that will do fine.

COol.
Agreed that the app responsiveness is important. Will your friend be updating the app to use buttons? I can try to help, but my time is limited.
Not sure if you noticed, but I bumped the app to BETA status. Hopefully the testing is going well.

Re: Remote Wake-On-LAN Server
I think we are going for the longest conversation on this forum.
Ok, now we are beta! (When does the theme music kick in?)
I talked with my friend who is helping with the design. He suggests keeping the submit buttons as buttons but dress up the interactions that link to other pages in another "clean" (his word) way that adds a little something. He is willing to dress things up a bit. It's just a matter of getting the time. I need to show him the screen shots from the AMS app so that he has something to which can compare our work.
I want to unify the submit buttons on all the pages so that the color and style from wol.php is the same as add_users.php. I like the main page look (with perhaps some more accents) and want it to flow to the rest of the app.

Understand.
My point was to make it look cleaner. I like buttons, but it's your app. I am sure whatever your friend does, it will be an improvement.
Have you considered pushing these changes to the author? I am sure he would appreciate the improvements.

Re: Remote Wake-On-LAN Server
Rating system may be broken. It does not mean much in my opinion. I wouldn't worry about it.

Re: Remote Wake-On-LAN Server
Friend cleaned up my html forms for the app. Did not change much of the layout but brought some consistency. Could you update the app one more time?
Re: Remote Wake-On-LAN Server
App has been updated. I presume things are working well. I would like to release this soon LIVE for Amahi. I know there are some others out there who would like this feature.

Do you feel this is stable and can go LIVE? Are there any planned changes in the near future?
I would like to release this over the weekend.

This should be the last update to the app that is needed its just fixing some bugs and name errors.
