I am trying to install SB, but am getting a 'the website is not available' error when clicking the link.
Here's what I've done so far
1. install SB
2. error: 'the website is not available'
3. uninstall SB
4. confirm no SB folders no web-apps folder (none found)
5. clean out amahi download directory (sudo rm -rf /tmp/amahi-download/*)
6. reboot
7. install SB
8. error: 'the website is not available'
9. reboot
10. error: 'the website is not available'
any thoughts n what I can try?

Actually, the error is not exclusive to SB.
I just installed CouchPotato, and get the same error.

Need to check /var/log/amahi-app-installer.log for errors. Sounds like it might be a DNS issue if this is occurring for more than one app.
If that is the case, check your client to verify where it's getting the DHCP lease and DNS from in your network. Unless you are not using the HDA, it should reflect it's IP address.

you're correct, it is a DNS issue, as I can connect by using the HDA's IP.
I have the DHCP Service turned off, as I have a client that has issues obtaining an IP otherwise.
(also, the DHCP restarts after reboot, even with both check boxes off, is that normal?).
So, if I use the router for DHCP, and the HDA for the DNS, will that work?

What you propose should work. As for the DHCP turning back on after reboot, that should not occur. Please submit a bug report.

There are various scenarios as to which you can configure your network. See the FAQ for more details.
