Hi all,

It seems couch potato is some versions behind.

with this version I get following errors:

Code: Select all

07-15 22:57:52 ERROR [.core.downloaders.sabnzbd] Error getting data from SABNZBd: expect one parameter 07-15 22:57:52 ERROR [.core.downloaders.sabnzbd] Error getting data from SABNZBd: {} 07-15 22:57:52 INFO [tato.core.plugins.release] Tried to download, but the "nzb" downloader gave an error
When I check the version it seems to be: 2.4.0 and the latest one is 2.5.1
But when clicking on update in couch potato he cannot find any new updates.

Can anyone tell me how I should update the app? (manually maybe?)

Details!

What version of Amahi, 6 or 7? Fedora or Ubuntu? How are you checking version?

Please file a bug report.

Amahi version 7 from the CD install.
I check the version by cat version.pyc in the /var/hda/web-apps/couchpotato/html/ dir

Should check version by checking the web UI. Using the "About Couch Potato is reflects it was last updated 8 Jul. It does not reflect the actual version, but a build number. Is that not the latest?

Apps that have built in updates often cause problems. If it helps, we can update the source to the latest release, but according to their site and the app it should already be updated the latest.

Testing the 2.5.1 release reflects the same last update date. I am inclined to think the current app is updating correctly, but your method for checking version is unreliable.

They may not be updating that file correctly. I installed both versions and they match, but that file does not. So not sure, but could be a bug with the Couch Potato app. Might consider contacting them and letting them know about it.

UPDATE: My thought is that file identifies the base version before updates are applied. I could be mistaken though.
