Got the app and installed without issues.
I entered a movie in search and see that the torrent has been saved in folder I created called "MovieTorrents".
Couchpotato then says movie is downloaded but it does not appear in any folder I can find?
Anyone using Couchpotato care to point an old man in the right direction, lol.

Re: Couchpotato not downloading movie
You will need to use SABnzbd to download the actual file. Search the web for setting up Couchpotato and SABnzbd. There's lots of tutorials.
Re: Couchpotato not downloading movie
You can use the Amahi one-click app
https://www.amahi.org/apps/sabnzbd-plus
There is guidance in the wiki for integrating them together as well.

Thanks for helping out. Bit overwhelming for someone who has never used. You will need to use SABnzbd to download the actual file. Search the web for setting up Couchpotato and SABnzbd. There's lots of tutorials.
I cannot figure out why not working with SABnzbd (or blackhole). I assume that the API key is same one from general settings area.
When clicking the "Test SABnzbd" get failed message and to check error logs. The error logs tell my newbie head nothing:
Code: Select all
[hpotato.core.plugins.base] Opening url: get http://localhost:8080/api?output=json&apikey=xxx&mode=version, data: []

Re: Couchpotato not downloading movie
That is what I am using, bought it along with DLNA couple of days ago. Been trying since to get all this to play together. You can use the Amahi one-click app
https://www.amahi.org/apps/sabnzbd-plus
There is guidance in the wiki for integrating them together as well.

(EDIT: my bad, I did not get the one-click PLUS version. doing it now to see if can get this working)
Tried the wiki and none of the URL's work for me, like http://sabnzbd/config/general/ or http://cpotato:5000/config/ . Since the top warning says outdated have been searching high and low with no luck.

Re: Couchpotato not downloading movie
For the URLS, just access the app and naviogate to the applicable area. Those URLs are probably for an early version of the apps.
The guidance should be fairly accurate.

Thanks both of you for helping. This may seem very simple to many, but when a man starts learning this late in life not so easy. Brain ain't near as sharp at 60 and to top it off, my eyesight I not so well. BUT I will prevail

Re: Couchpotato not downloading movie
Not a problem. I wished the wiki guidance was more accurate. We rely on the user community to update it. Often things are left and become stale.

Re: Couchpotato not downloading movie
Man my head is getting sore from banging it on the desk, lol.
I have SABnzbd Plus installed and still CouchPotato is not working. Thought with the "one-click install" would be on my way.
Finding documentation online is difficult so far. There is tons of info, but each one different and most seems outdated.
Looking at https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/CouchPotato (which is way outdated) I see:
There is no folder in spool called "sabnzbd" when getting to renaming settings?
Perhaps I have bitten off more than I can chew... Another part that is so confusing is CouchPotato downloads torrents and SABnzbd seems to look for .nzb files.
If I ever do get it working, will make screenshots for the Wiki so other dumb ole men will not have issues like myself:)

Re: Couchpotato not downloading movie
This can be complicated as the one-click apps are designed to run independently, not connected together as you are trying to do. While they can work in that manner, it's not something we support out of the box.
The SABnzbd files you are looking for are probably in the share, Newsgroups. All files for both apps are typically located there.
Since we rely on the community to update the wiki, no one has stepped up to do so yet it seems.
Sorry I cannot be of more help, but sounds like you have the drive to find the solution and update the wiki. We would greatly appreciate it as would other users.
