Did you complete the guidance in the wiki? This could be a software issue with their client. Might want to check their site for assistance.

Great. I see you updated the bug. I presumed that was from the app install log. I will begin some forensics and see what I can find.

I presume you must have had Java installed from a different app that caused this issue. I am testing on a prestine Amahi 7 VM with no updates installed. That is our normal test case for apps.

I agree some other app had to install it. That bug log was for the app install not the connection issue I posted here. Ill post a bug report for that as well shortly. The apps I have installed are in the screen shot.

I posted all the app installs prior to crashplan (there was not many) to the bug log so you could see and test better. For the connection issue I will first test it on my mac and see if it gets the same issue as my Windows box. If so I will post the details. If it does work I will assume the issue is a local issue to my Windows desktop and work on it myself.

I bet Subsonic is the culprit. I will verify and update the app accordingly. More to follow.

I verified that Subsonic does use Java. However, it's installing the latest which is 1.8. There may be a chance that you installed it before we updated it to use Java 1.8.

Can you please uninstall CrashPlan and then reinstall? Would like to verify that it successfully installs now that you have Java 1.8 on your HDA.

My mistake, it's 1.8 that causes the issue. I changed Subsonic to use it vs 1.8. CrashPlan should now work correctly.

Based on the Apps page for Crashplan indicating that it was only in Beta for Fedora 19 I didn't think I could install it on my HDA with F19. The wiki doesn't say much about the actual installation of CP. Should the initial installation of CP be via the command line? And then follow the Wiki for configuration?

It's a little more involved than what the wiki reflects for Fedora 19. Please see the PM I sent you.
