First time I installed phpsudoku it failed and said page could not be displayed, nothing in the error logs. Unistalled and installed again and appears to sort of work. Show solution, validate and finished buttons don't appear to work.

Do you have a pop-up blocker on?
The show solution pops-up a window.

Also, what browser do you have?
The app is very simply (largely javascript) - might have some browser issues.
Maybe turning on javascript debugging in the browser will illuminate what is going on.
