Anyone know if there is an app for cloud based backup. I thought it would be cool to designate a Gdrive, Drop box, Skydrive, etc. account and setup a share to backup to the cloud. Maybe Amazon S3 or Azure would be better from the standpoint of cost per terabyte.
THoughts?

I plan on getting a crashplan account for $49/yr. They offer unlimited space

They are always coupons available. Right now im finding 10% off, but labour day they had a 20% off that i just missed. I think during US black friday they will probably have an awesome deal, and will jump on it then.

Thats cool. THanks for that info. I am interested in an app that lets me do more. If that app was on click with Amahi, but had options for the other services I would bite. I would even pay for that app.

It's highly unlikely you will find an app that will offer different service options. I do not know of any that currently does.
If you are looking for a backup solution, you could try CrashPlan.

I found a nice client that works with Windows, Linux, and Mac that allows access to various cloud services.

I am testing it out now and seems to work well so far.

Nice app. From there I found Amazon Glacier (
http://aws.amazon.com/glacier/#pricing)
They are offering $0.01 per GB / month and free data transfer in.
I think I found my long term storage service provider.
