Is there a messenger app that someone can package to run on amahi. We has a small office, and this would be a great add on.

How about a jabber server install. I think the server and client is free to download

If someone can come up with a viable solution, I am sure we can package it for Amahi. It needs to be a web app or something that can be incorporated into a web page if possible. We typically do not package desktop apps for Amahi.

Please use the Suggest link on the web site.

Are these apps or tutorials? We prefer all app suggestions be submitted via amahi.org so we can track them. They get lost in the forums too easily.

If someone wants to attempt to integrate this with Amahi and document in the wiki, that would be great. We just don't have the resources to do so ourselves.

That would be cool. I forgot we do have one messenger app, but not sure if it would meet the requirement.

ejabber looks like the right solution, can someone package this up for amahi?

I submitted it via the 'you suggest" on amahi.org I hope to see this soon.

It has been added to the list. It is a low priority at the moment due to ongoing Ubuntu and Fedora 17 development. We don't have the resources at the moment.

If someone else has time to package it, that would be great.
