one click installs how to

i was thinking about one click installs... is there a way to see how they work ? how to create them?
or how to install something on amahi that is not a one click install

cant find much info on this

Its fairly simple if you have some Linux experience. May I ask what you are trying to do? I might be able better assist you if I understood your intent.

the first thing iam trying to do is just understand how the one click installs work .. i learn by playing around .. in a vm i like to know how things work ... am guessing the one click installs are .zip .rar or what ever on linux . with scrips or something this is what i want to see so i know whats going on in the background

Not sure what you are going to gain by knowing, but let me describe how it works.

We have code that based on a app shell creates the directory in /var/hda/web-apps, downloads the source file, unarchives it, creates the virtual host file, database, and server script if used. It basically does all the work and can accommodate bash scripts as well. That is the high level overview.

You can follow a similar process using the Web App function in the dash board. Apps are built via Amahi by app contributors. There is an app wizard of sorts that we use to provide the necessary data to make the app work.
