[SOLVED] Problem caused by setting permissions for Videos5

The only way I could get Videos5 to work correctly was to give it ownership of my Movies share folder. Otherwise I was getting a message that Apache did not have permission to write to the folder in order to transcode.

Now I cannot access the folder to add any new movies.

How can I fix this?

The app works with the first admin user directory permissions. It appears there is something else amiss. Not sure what you have going on, but there must be something that was done during install to cause all these problems.

Yeah I'm starting from scratch - about to reinstall Fedora. Do I need a new HDA install code or can I use the original one?

No, you can use the same code providing you have the same IP address and Gateway address for the HDA.
