Transmission: cannot connect to the Web Interface

Hello

I have purchased and installed Transmission about a month ago and today when I try to connect to the web interface I get a "Page does not exist" error or sometimes (after a lot of F5) the web gui appears but I get a message the it cannot connect to the server and when I click on the "Details" button I get a "Server not responding" error.

Furthermore, I was never able to connect from my laptop (which is connected to the network through WiFi). I always got the "Page does not exist" error.

EDIT: I just saw that the deamon is still working and the torrents are being downloaded, I just cannot access the web interface for some reason.

The error log in "/var/hda/web-apps/transmission/logs/" had these in it

Hello,

First of all can you post the install info for Transmission? It will be located in the /var/log/amahi-app-installer.log

Secondly, are you using your HDA as the DHCP/DNS server? Is a normal box or a plug system?

A bit more info will help us assist you.

Sorry it took so long to answer but I was away.

Here are the latest news: it actually wasn't a Transmission problem but a Amahi DNS problem. I followed the Network Troubleshooter, and I failed step 4 - DNS resolving for internal hostnames. Here's a paste to help troubleshoot: http://pastebin.com/V6PX879B.

Hello,

The link is dead. If you failed a step, you might wanna check and ensure your hda is the DHCP/DNS server. The router DHCP and DNS must be shut off.
