Amahi Energy Server not waking up over wireless [SOLVED]

hi there,
I have AES installed. Works fine. too good actually.
I have set it up to go into standby after 600 seconds. It does that, but then I am not able to wake up the server with my laptops.
The laptops connect over wireless.
I had to change the DHCP server from my router to the Amahi server, to be able to contact http://aes.thuis.com on my intranet.
But when the AES and thus Amahi server are of my clients dont get a IP address and cant surf or wake up the server.
has this been noticed before?
I can do 2 thing:
- change the DHCP server back to the router and thus loosing my DNS server on the Amahi server, but regaining the capability to wake up the server from the wireless clients. I also wont be able to reach the AES dashboard anymore over the intranet
or
- walk over to my headless server and hit the Powerbutton whenever I want to wake up the server....which is pretty annoying...
what would be your best advise?
