transmission not working?

Hi
I just purchased the transmission installer via Amahi but I'm not able to reach the WebUI.
It points to transmission.server but that doesn't seem to exist? I also tried my ip on port 9091 and that give me a forbidden error.
I managed to log in once but apart from that unique situation it seems unreachable?
So much for paying for an 'easy install'???

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having problems. Can you post some info from the app install log? It would be in /var/log/amahi-app-installer.log file.
I would be glad to assist, but need to know more. Might consider stopping by the IRC channel #amahi for live help as well.

I also noticed I can't connect to
http://hda either, but I can connect when using the server IP. Might this be a DNS issue?

As you can see I did try to reinstall transmission, without any luck...

got this from the chat:
http://net.pommepause.com/network_troubleshooter/
Got to step 9, but noticed that DHCP needs to be disabled on the router? I don't have this option on my router (got it from my isp)
Is there a way to get around this?

You can run without Amahi DHCP, but there are some tradeoffs. Check out the web site FAQ for more info.
