I have installed tiny todo and find it very useful. So does my wife, when she wants to remind me to cut the grass! I would like my dear wife to be able to access the tiny todo page from the www as she is working abroad at the moment. The laptop she has is provided by her work and is locked down slightly, so there is no installing a VNC client to access via VPN etc. She does have access to IE8 and/or Chrome so could navigate to a URL.

Q Is it possible to access the tiny todo page on my HDA from the web? If not please could someone nudge me in the right direction of making the page accessible please?

Thanks for reading :)

hurrah!

that worked beautifully, and very simple it was too - even for me :) needless to say that left the whole world being able to see the tinytodo page, as it has no login enabled, it is just there. So even though it is a massive nut to crack I have loaded FengOffice instead and made a user there with a serious password. A bit OTT perhaps but at least my wife can now task me from abroad with great ease :)

Thanks

Check the options for the application and you will find a password function which will protect the app. Recommend you view the application instructions for further details.

:(

Okay I am a dunce - I thought I had checked the options page thoroughly - sob. Don't know how I missed that.

Password protection: Enabled
Disabled

All a bit obvious now. I am just excited to be using something so useful as Amahi. I will try really, really hard not to ask stupid questions again :)

Right so back to tinytodo with a password protected login then :)

Having said that - FengOffice is an amazing package, ALL small business's should look into it's functionality really. Whilst it is over the top for my use, I wish I had had it available four years ago when I ran a small business, or at least knew of it's existence. Hey ho, thems the breaks.

Thanks btw - I appreciate your time.
