Apps not working

Hi,
I am using Fedora 14, platform 6.1.0-1, Core 4.1.1-1
I am having problems with running apps on the system. At the moment I have phprecipiebook, transmission, Wordpress and ajaxterm. They were installed in that order too. So far only phprecipiebook and transmission work sucessfully.
I also tried to install utorrent but that also didnt work and was removed. Something about a missing library that didnt want to work and there was no solution for as yet.
The issue i am having with Wordpress is all the links point to "http://wordpress/" and not "http://wordpress.home.com" Because of this, i am not able to log in to the app or make any changes to it.
Ajaxterm isnt working and gives this error "Service Temporarily Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later."
All i can say is so much for the 1 click install apps. Also what makes this worse is the fact that i have paid for a couple of these apps. (I know they are beta apps but being available for sale, i thought they would at least install and run)
