N00B utorrent problem

Postby haggbart » Mon Mar 21, 2011 10:51 am

Hey All!!

First time poster here, I have recently moved from WHS to Amahi and the new (for me) world of linux.

I have been searching for a few says now without any result.
I have installed utorrent and got it running, all great so far. I can download to /root/, but i wish to have my download to my shared folder Torrents. I have tried over 9000 different path only one working is /root/.

Thanks i advance

Hello,

I presume you mean the Amahi web app uTorrent? You might consider visiting the vendor web site for guidance on changing the download settings. There may be other users who might jump in and assist, but cannot say when.

Thanks for the answer.

I'll give the vendor site a go.

This is most likely due to incorrect folder permissions. The "apache" user needs permissions to read/write to the folder. I suggest making a new share and pointing uTorrent to the correct path.
