Maybe I´m stupid, but how do I setup the Bookmarks app?

Can´t find info that I understand.

Did you look check out the special instructions for the app. It should show up right after you installed.

This what is says:
Use http://bookmarks to create new users.
To change the passwords of, or delete existing users, execute the following command on your HDA, when logged as root:
php /var/hda/web-apps/bookmarks/html/change_user
You will need to install the Firefox add-on by going to http://mozillalabs.com/sync/

I have read that, but I don´t understand how that will help.

What do I write when I set up Firefox sync? I only get "invalid server" or "can´t connect to server" no matter what I try.

I have not used this app, so not sure why its not working. Those instructions are all that I know of to make it work. If I have time, I will test it and see what I can come up with.

Maybe someone else who uses it can jump in and assist.

i dont understand how to set up. Ive created a user at http://bookmarks. what do i need to do to to get the app to link up with the server. How do i make it point to my server?

does amahi have webdev?

The URL that you enter into the Firefox Sync settings is just http://bookmarks. You will only be able to use this app when connected to you local network unless you open it up to the internet following these steps: http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Hosting_a_website

i tried http://bookmarks and it said please enter a valid server url...

Do you have your HDA set up as a DNS server? Also, are you directed to the new users page if you go to http://bookmarks just in the browser? Try including the full domain, ie. http://bookmarks.home.com where "home" is the domain you set up when installing Amahi
