I love Amahi! I currently have the latest version of Amahi installed along with Videos5. I can play and encode all videos when in a Macintosh environment using Safari 5. Unfortunately when attempting the same in a Windows environment, using Safari, the Videos5application fails.

Ok, to be more specific, I can log into the Videos5 application and I see all the movies coverart that I'm testing with Videos5. On the right I see encode but no play. When I attempt to encode the page changes to a blank screen, no movie coverart, no encoding errors and no play.

I am using .mkv video files and html 5 browsers.

are you by chance using the plug edition of amahi?

we should point out that it does not work on the plug computer.

otherwise, please filea bug under "apps" including any errors you may find in the app's logs directory (/var/hda/web-apps/videos5/logs/error_log).
