Auto Unrar

Hi

Looking for a way to auto unrar torrents downloaded. So download complete and torrent gets unrared to new folder with same name as torrent

Can this be scriptet or plugin to any of the torrent apps?

There is a program called deluge http://deluge-torrent.org/, which should have it as a plugin but havent tried it.

Anyone has an idea on this, it could be a killer feature to amahi.

I am sure a script could be created to do the job. Not sure why you would want this option. There is potential for having files extracted all over the place. At least with a manual extraction you know what is being put where. Sometimes having some manual control is safer in the long run.

We have looked at packaging Deluge, but it does not play well with Amahi. Maybe it will work better with Fedora 13 when we get there.

As far as adding auto unrar as a feature, this is something more specific to an app. I would expect to find this type feature in Amahi. Might be a better feature request proposed to the author of the torrent apps.
