I came accross this website http://sumoam.sourceforge.net/ whilst looking into the status of openvpn als.
sadly, they have decided to stop supporting openvpn als and concentrate on the openvpn access server (which is basically a granulated web portal where you download an openvpn config or installer)
it's a shame because the latter will probably never be allowed to run through a corporate network due to install restrictions (even with a portable version of openvpn) whereas sslexplorer>adito>openvpn als did.
i do hope somebody takes this project on as it would be a shame to let all its hard work and uniqueness go down the drain. perhaps, openvpn will add a clientless ssl vpn to their access server eventually?

I had not heard that OpenVPN ALS development had ceased. It works fairly well now, at least it has for me. I use it from work all the time. Last I heard, the community edition was still being worked on to be migrated from ant to maven. Is there a link where I can read more about this latest development?

SUMO looks interesting. We will take a look and see if it can be applied to Amahi. As for OpenVPN ALS, hopefully it can continue to serve the community as is for a while. I surely depend on it.

it's a shame because it's absolutely brilliant from work, abroad etc if you need access to your pc or support networks etc
i used it to vpn from work to work and then out to other company networks, phone systems etc.

unfortuntely openvpn (with a client) just doesn't cut it here. i'll cling on to my adito for as long as i can and pray that it doesn't die.
