Regarding the uninstall, reboot, and reintall. Already done that. Same problem. I did install phpMyAdmin the other day and there are tables in the database related to OpenGoo. But that would not explain why by clients machines are being redirected to an OpenDNS search page.

Remember I can run OpenGoo from the server console with out any problem. I can run all the other installed apps from the clients with out any issues. That is why I am wondering why Amahi is not resolving the internal URL to the installed server application. All of the other installed apps don't have this problem. Is it possible that some network configuration on the Amahi server is not correctly configured to recognize the URL? So when it fails to resolve the internal URL it redirects to the Internet connection in an attempt to resolve it to the outside world??

So where are the URL configurations for each application kept for Amahi? It would be interesting to compare the URL configs for each app against OpenGoo's.

I think I found it dude! I was doing some poking around in the OpenGoo files at; "/var/hda/web-apps/opengoo/html/config/" in the file "config.php".

I changed the "ROOT_URL" from "http://opengoo" to the my internal URL (i.e. http://opengoo.myinternalurl).

I tried it on my server console and two Fedora client computers on my network. Works now.

So it appears that it was having a problem resolving the long URL to the Amahi Server. So I don't know what you guys can do about this for the future. I did log a bug originally before going to the forum, "[apps - Bug #469] OpenGoo Startup Problem".

Will you guys ever be upgrading from the current OpenGoo to the current version which is now called "Feng Office"?

Please let me know what you guys are planning to do. Now I can take OpenGoo for a spin finally!

PS: If it doesn't work out I am considering installing the Alfresco application on my Amahi box (with out Amahi integration packaging).

Awesome....glad you got it working. That is strange that it did not resolve automatically. All other apps appear to do so.

We are going to be upgrading OpenGoo in the near future to Feng Office. OpenGoo has been renamed by the author and a new version released. We will deploy the autobackup feature which will allow you to uninstall OpenGoo and install Feng Office without losing your current database.

If you would like to test the new app, please let us know. It is currently in beta testing and appears to perform the upgrade from OpenGoo to Feng Office seamlessly. We can provide you access for testing.

Thanks for your patience and help sorting out this issue.
