That thread is quite old. What we need to know is details. What Amahi version are you using, Ubuntu or Fedora 19?

Have you checked out the wiki guidance?
https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Transmission

If you can provide some details, we might be able to assist.

You might consider checking the file permissions. See who owns them and also verify the cron job is enabled. Is this related to your issue?

It loads one torrent, so the cron is running and tries to add all the torrents in the directory and then deletes the .torrents after it thinks it has loaded all of them (Although only one torrent gets loaded)

I run the command stated in the case: transmission-remote localhost:9091 --auth transmission:torrent -a /var/hda/files/torrents/*.torrent -b and it seems to only load one torrent as well and displayed (with three .torrent files in the dir):

Code: Select all

* Connection refused * Trying 127.0.0.1... * Connected to localhost (127.0.0.1) port 9091 (#0) > POST /transmission/rpc/ HTTP/1.1 User-Agent: transmission-remote/2.80 (14103) Host: localhost:9091 Accept: */* Accept-Encoding: deflate, gzip Content-Length: 105177 Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded Expect: 100-continue < HTTP/1.1 100 Continue < HTTP/1.1 409 Conflict < Server: Transmission < X-Transmission-Session-Id: N71rHPWxz0L7vs3j4ge0F3YTR5SZfRgMldIesDfwmsQEdgzc < Date: Tue, 22 Apr 2014 02:34:18 GMT < Content-Length: 580 < Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 * HTTP error before end of send, stop sending < * Closing connection 0 posting: --------
then displays the argument gibberish before displaying:

Code: Select all

-------- * Couldn't find host localhost in the .netrc file; using defaults * About to connect() to localhost port 9091 (#1) * Trying ::1... * Connection refused * Trying 127.0.0.1... * Connected to localhost (127.0.0.1) port 9091 (#1) > POST /transmission/rpc/ HTTP/1.1 User-Agent: transmission-remote/2.80 (14103) Host: localhost:9091 Accept: */* Accept-Encoding: deflate, gzip X-Transmission-Session-Id: N71rHPWxz0L7vs3j4ge0F3YTR5SZfRgMldIesDfwmsQEdgzc Content-Length: 105177 Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded Expect: 100-continue < HTTP/1.1 100 Continue < HTTP/1.1 200 OK < Server: Transmission < Content-Encoding: gzip < Content-Type: application/json; charset=UTF-8 < Date: Tue, 22 Apr 2014 02:34:23 GMT < Content-Length: 192 < * Connection #1 to host localhost left intact got response
then displaying the last of argument gibberish

Thanks for your help Bigfoot.

Quick linux ?. If I run yum -y update, does that just update Fedora within version 19, or update to 20? Do you recommend I do this (And if yes, often?)

Sorry, a bit new to linux.

Thanks again

No problem.

Yes that command is correct. I would recommend weekly you check.

DO NOT attempt to update to Fedora 20 or you will break Amahi. It only works with the OS initially installed.

This should be resolved. Uninstall and reinstall the app.
