does that mean it wont be available until after fcsk?

Is there a race condition here, depending on whether sickbeard sees the file first or greyhole finds the first. what happened if greyhole tries to move the file while sickbeard is doing its thing?

Greyhole won't mess with locked files. Not sure but once the file is seen by Greyhole and not locked it then should do it's thing.

I have never had any problems in the past with moving files.

Remember Greyhole is an Amahi addon so we have limited experience. Might be best to ask these types of questions in the Greyhole forums to ensure get the best support.

I solved this problem by deleting the file permissions from the sabnzbdplus web interface.

Glad it's finally resolved.
