Total noob here, learning as I go along and while I was fiddling around in SABnzbd's settings it started to ask me for a username/password. After being unsuccessful with a bunch of different combinations I finally gave up and uninstalled/reinstalled. Surprised when I got the same message.

I googled it, and changed the username and password in the sabnzbd.ini file to "". Again it requested a username/password. Deleted the sabnzbd.ini file, same thing. Now I'm at my wits end.

This is what it says:
A username and password are being requested by #############. The site says: "SABnzbd"

Any help is greatly appreciated

When you uninstall SABnzbd, it backs up your settings to/var/hda/files/newsgroups/sabnzbd.ini. You will need to remove the sabnzbd.ini file from there before reinstall. That will then allow the default settings file to be installed and should correct the login issue.

Thank you. I thought I had done this, but it seems like I did not.
