See this thread http://forums.amahi.org/viewtopic.php?f ... 5&start=10. The user had a similar issue and the removal of RPM Fusion Free and NonFree corrected the problem for him.

Thanks Bigfoot, but my problem isn't with unrar - it's installed fine.

Thegeebs - no effect, but thank you.

I think I'll just have to be happy with accessing it by ip from now on :)

Hmm, if it weren't for these little pesky issues, sab would be out of beta long ago! :x

We need to examine this in more detail. Can you come by the IRC channel and try to contact cpg to debugging help with sab?

Hi,

I get the 503 error as well. Same as Feanor, these lines shows up in /var/hda/web-apps/sabnzbd/logs/error_log each time i try to access sab ...

Code: Select all

# [Sat Apr 16 13:26:58 2011] [error] (111)Connection refused: proxy: HTTP: attempt to connect to 127.0.0.1:25914 (localhost) failed # [Sat Apr 16 13:26:58 2011] [error] ap_proxy_connect_backend disabling worker for (localhost)
Anything else i can provide to help debugging?

What that says is that sab is not running for some reason (at least on that port!). I am not sure where sab's internal logs are. That may shed some light as to why it's not presently running on that port.

Did you change ports?

Noone has stepped up to help debug this and we cannot reproduce locally :(

Yes, I probably did that. I'm quite new to linux and tried to get away with this first post whitout too much explaination ...
I now recall i changed to "port = 8080" in /var/spool/sabnzbd/sabnzbd.ini while reading the wiki/forums and trying out some of the suggested fixes.
I'd like to reinstall sab so I can start sorting things out with a fresh install. How can I uninstall sab and be sure everything is really deleted? When I uninstall/install from the dashboard I get log files still containing info from before uninstall ...

OK, I unistalled, deleted the folder /var/spool/sabnzbd/, reinstalled, and now I'm kind of back to where I was when I installed sab on Amahi 6 the first time: I can access sab from the Dashboard, http://sabnzbd.mydomain.lan.

The frontpage of the user interface looks familiar (Like Amahi 5) but in the upper line it says: "Your UNRAR version is not recommended, get it from http://www.rarlab.com/rar_add.htm"

When I try to download something, I get errors in the webpanel: "Unpacking failed, [Errno 2] No such file or directory"

From /var/spool/sabnzbd/logs/sabnzbd.log:
