SABnzbd Settings

Customized settings for sabnzbd are lost after rebooting the HDA.
I have tried a few times and made sure to click the save settings buttons within sabnzbd but after reboot all changes are lost. Such as Newsgroup server settings, RSS feed settings, folder settings, etc.

System: 2.6.32.23-170.fc12.i686.PAE , i386

Looks like I got it working correctly. Had to change permission of a file sabnzbd.ini

chown apache /var/spool/sabnzbd/sabnzbd.ini
chgrp apache /var/spool/sabnzbd/sabnzbd.ini

After that go to the config screen for SABnzbd
http://sabnzbd.home.com/config/general/
and press the "Save Changes" button.

Now when ever I make changes and press the save button from any other screen the ini file does update.

I can't even get the service to start. Says it can't write to the logfile. Any idea which one that is? Also, my HDA web-app folders are empty.

SABnzbd installs to /var/spool/sabnzbd/

at least mine did.
Also when i did the install I did get some errors. To correct I uninstalled the app then installed it again.

OK I got the app to run in the end (reboot the hda if in doubt). How are you addressing sabnzbd server from sickbeard as I can't get it to connect with the ip address method and keep getting errors.

EDIT: this is def related to my inability to reach the server via the ip address:port method. my other webapps work that way but not SABnzbd. Any ideas what to try?

This took me some time to figure out too.

What works for me in Sickbeard is:

localhost:25914

i assume also that 127.0.0.1:25914 would work also.

Finally got it working with 127.0.0.1:25914 Now it's working fine.
