sabnzb stopped working

I am getting a 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable error.

If I do a "/etc/init.d/sabnzbd status" I get "sabnzbd dead but subsys locked" returned. Stopping, starting, restarting, reloading, reinstalling, rebooting have no effect.

Any ideas what is causing this?

Jim!

Check your boot log and ensure it does not show missing dependencies. Sometimes python-cheetah does not get installed as it should.

Also check the log files in the sabnzbd and /var/logs dir for any clue of what might be wrong. It appears that maybe some Fedora updates could have broken the app.

A new version is in testing now which may correct that problem.

Everything is up-to-date. Checked logs and can't see anything (used "cat * | grep sabnzb" in /var/log) and python-cheetah is installed and up to date ?????????????????

hi guys,

I am haviung the same problem since yesterday.

which log files should I check and for what?

I can only connect to SABNZBD from the amahi server console itself buy http://127.0.0.1:23456 (I use a different port).

when I check the status it reports:
sabnzbd dead but subsys locked
please advise

OK,
checked again today and now the service is running fine on the server.

It is only accessible from a browser inside the server at http://localhost:23456 (in my case)

the http://sabnzbd
does not work

why can I reach the sanbzbd service from my network clients?
