CLOSED: Plex Server update v1.17

Postby gd515 » Wed Dec 04, 2019 3:39 pm

Hello , I am trying to update from plex media server 1.13 to 1.17 . I have tried this http://bugs.amahi.org/issues/2413 in the command line and it tells me

" Last metadata expiration check: 0:29:18 ago on Wed 04 Dec 2019 04:01:46 PM CST. Dependencies resolved.
Nothing to do.Complete! "

but yet the version still remains 1.13 .... any suggestions?

Thanks,
gd515

Hello,

This only works for the latest version of Amahi which is on Fedora 27.

If you don't have that version, you cannot use the latest update.

I used this command in terminal " cat /etc/fedora-release" and it shows me using Fedora release 27. So it should work then ?

This is what it shows for the system info for HDA

4.13.9-300.fc27.x86_64 ,x86_64

Do the following:

Code: Select all

sudo rpm -ql amahi-plex
This will identify the version.

sudo rpm -ql amahi-plex
This will identify the version.
I ran that command and it brings up a lot of information, but I don't see where it shows the version of Fedora or plex. Can I output the results somewhere?

The above command couldn't generate me a link. It gave me an error "Server did not return a correct JSON response.

How about this link https://justpaste.it/4r03l

Installed Packages

That's what I get when I run that command.
