I've had a reminder for a new version of Plex for awhile, but I have ignored it due to the guidance not to attempt to manually install if I've used Amahi's installer for Plex. I didn't notice anything missing until I went to set up a TV tuner on my network and found that the version in Amahi's repo, 1.15.3.876, has a known issue with Plex where I cannot enter my zip code and get their EPG data to make the DVR work.

I noticed there's already a bug report open to ask for the newest Plex build to be pushed out to Amahi, is that something we might see soon? In the interim, has anyone had luck getting XMLTV files that Plex will accept? I have one, but I can't get Plex to find it.

We only have one developer and he works full time. Amahi is a part time endeavor for us

We do them best we can, but takes longer with such a small team.

Of course, I don't mean to rush, and hopefully don't come off as impatient. I'm having zero luck with XML files so far. Do you think it might be worth my while to remove the Amahi install and try to install/configure Plex myself via the command line?
