I have downloaded the Amahi DLNA App and installed. However despite reboot the server is still stopped.
I have had a look at a couple f threads but no luck.
I have done a fpaste --sysinfo and it gave url as follows

Any ideas?

Hi this is the link. there is potentially a space between the f and the j, although I thought this unlikely.
Cheers

Re: DNLA Server Stopped
Have you done any OS updates?
Also you might try uninstalling the dlna App, then reboot and try a reinstall.
I have seen where things get stuck sometimes.
Code: Select all
sudo dnf update

Re: DNLA Server Stopped
Thanks Bigfoot
Have now got the server up only when accessing from TV none of the files (jpg or mp3) are readable. The message is "file is not supported. Tis is on both my Panasonic TV and TCL TVs.

Re: DNLA Server Stopped
Do the TVs support those file types? The message is "file is not supported. Tis is on both my Panasonic TV and TCL TVs.
Also ensure the file permissions are set correctly as well.

Re: DNLA Server Stopped
Yes the TVs do, if I transfer files to USB they play. I have checked the permissions and I have given full access to the Unix server.
