My plex media server is on Version 0.9.14.6 when the latest current Version is 1.4.3.3433, I'd really like to get on the current version so that I can use the web app as designed.

I've been told that it's a bear to upgrade manually, but I am curious: just how hard it is?

Although I'd prefer a way to upgrade in place, I am okay with an uninstalling and reinstalling PMS (so long as it wouldn't break something else on my server).

If I can avoid a full rebuild on Amahi 9, that would be swell.

We provide very limited support for Plex.

What you see in the wiki is about all we can do to assist with manual installation.

The author is very particular wth their licensing model. We almost had to remove it from the App Store a while back.

Maybe there is someone in the community that can assist.
