I have Amahi running, and was able to install/enable Jinzora. I click on the Jinzora link from my dashboard and I receive a login screen for Revive Adserver.
"Welcome to Revive Adserver
Enter your username and password to log in"
Log in? With what credentials? I go to Revive's web site and there is no way to register an email address, so it seems like the login should be part of the installation.
Any assistance on where to start is appreciated.
Jinzora - Initial Installation (newbie to both Amahi and Linux)
Re: Jinzora - Initial Installation (newbie to both Amahi and Linux)
This is not normal behavior. Jinzora is not related to this ad server. Not sure what is going on in your network, but that is not the app your accessing.
Please check the /var/log/amahi-app-installer.log file for errors.

I just did a test install and I did not have any issues. It went to the the app.

I didn't think that seemed like an expected output... here is the information requested. Thanks!
Also, I'm running in a VM, so if I need to start over it's a non-issue.

Re: Jinzora - Initial Installation (newbie to both Amahi and Linux)
Thanks for the info.
I see no errors and all appears to be normal for the install.
There is something wrong with your network.
Are you using Amahi for your DHCP and DNS server functions?
Have you tried clearing the browser cache or using a different browser?

"Are you using Amahi for your DHCP and DNS server functions?" Yes, I believe that is how I let it set up.
"Have you tried clearing the browser cache or using a different browser?" I started in Chrome. I just tried it in IE11 and got the same problem.

Re: Jinzora - Initial Installation (newbie to both Amahi and Linux)
There is something in your network causing this issue.
No other users have reported problems. I have also tested and works fine.
Recommend you check that your client is getting DHCP and DNS from the HDA. Also check that your router is not proxyin through an ad server.

Re: Jinzora - Initial Installation (newbie to both Amahi and Linux)
Thanks for the help.
I went to the network troubleshooting guide (https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Networ ... leshooting) and began following the steps. All of the steps work fine except the first one:
1. ping hda (it should ping the IP of your HDA; this ensures the dns server is working)
I can ping the IP address of the hda, but "ping hda" returns "ping: unknown host hda".
All of the other steps work.
I also went to the Windows Networking page (https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Vista_Networking_Issue), and added my local domain to the DNS suffix list.
What should I try next?

Re: Jinzora - Initial Installation (newbie to both Amahi and Linux)
Verify there is only 1 DHCP and DSN server running, preferably the HDA.
Next check where the client is getting the DHCP lease and DNS from.
There is guidance in the wiki if needed at the Renew IP page.
