Amahi overwriting ifcfg-enp1s0 and smb.conf

I'm running a Supermicro box and I configure the first Ethernet port (enp1so) to have DHCP_HOSTNAME="hda". I am using DHCP with a reserved address to the MAC layer address of the Ethernet port. I need the name in there so it will announce to my network who the box is and I can map to the drives from Windows clients.

Also, Amahi is overwritting the smb.conf file - I need to place a Windows workgroup in there as well.

# This file is automatically generated for WORKGROUP setup.
# Any manual changes MAY BE OVERWRITTEN
# Amahi configuration, generated on 2016-01-26 05:42:54 -0500
[global]
workgroup = WORKGROUP
How can I prevent them being overwritten without impeding functionality of Amahi? Is there a "master" conf file that amahi uses to generate these?
I set these up in Fedora prior to installing amahi.
Thx!

You cannot prevent this from happening without hacking the code.

As for the Workgroup name, that is in the Dashboard under Shares. Look for Settings. See the Setup page in the wiki.

BTW, the wiki holds a lot of guidance and tutorials for Amahi. Recommend you search there before modifying system files. This may save you countless hours of diagnosing a broken machine.

Excellent - the workgroup box is checked off.
May I ask that for the next release a parameter be added for the DHCP_HOSTNAME?
