plex not showing files

I am having a problem with plex not showing my music or videos when trying to view all.

With the movies i have to select view by folder to get them to show up.

As of the music it is the same way. When sorting by artist or song name it is just a blank list.

Is there a limit to how many new files you can add? I have 41 movies and 75k songs. Now when i click on a song and go threw the motions to view all the artist songs from that particular one all hir/her songs do show up that way. Also when trying to open with my samsung tv using the plex app I get a server not responding when picking the movie icon or music icon. Any one have any ideas?

Not sure this is an Amahi question. Recommend you check ownership permission of your files in the shares. They should be set to your first admin user:users.

Suggest you check the Plex web site as well. Some of your issues may be software related.
