Soundbridge not finding music libraries

Postby nutcracker23 » Tue Aug 18, 2009 1:29 am

Hi. I have just managed to get the HDA fully setup and functioning (I hope). Installed Amahitunes and loaded some songs in the shared library. Amahitunes shows them as found there. Rebooted my soundbridge (more than once now!) but it persistently tells me that no libraries are available. Soundbridge is logged onto the network and can play internet radio happily. I looked at the logfile which shows the firefly server is working ok. I am at a loss. Any suggestions welcome.

i think this is a tough one. i think the firefly media server changed the default in a previous release of fedora and came without compiled support for roku. not sure why.

the only suggestion i have is to take the RPM for mt-daapd and recompile it by yourself turning sounbridge support on.

- pick the source rpm (i would *not* recommend going to the latest source)
- figure out the flag to enable roku support
- increase the version number
- recompile and install
