SOLVED:Issues w/Plex (Not updating,uninstalling,no metadata)

Ive had a problems with the amahi-plex app since before christmas (from best i can tell)
Firstly Metadata is no longer being downloaded or updated when i add new media to my plex server. This was working fine before christmas.

The issue above took me to the plex settings.
The plex server itself displays an error message "Version 0.9.11.1 Something went wrong. Please install the update manually."
I can see the latest version of the app on the amahi store is 0.9.11.1.678-c48ffd2 however in my dashboard i am currently on Version: 0.9.9.14.531-7eef8c6

I cannot downgrade as i get an error due to "Delta RPMs disabled because /usr/bin/applydeltarpm not installed." and it also indicates that no mirrors available.
I thought that maybe uninstall and reinstall would work but I cannot uninstall through the dashboard as it just hangs once clicked and afterwards plex is still in place.
I have also tried installing the app manually however amahi-plex is stopping me from doing so.

Can you help? Ive spent ages trawling through other threads but no luck sorting the issues above and would be happy to go back to how it worked before christmas as it was working fine for several months.
If you need any logs or files please do not hesitate to ask. Also please bear in mind I am a new user and may need some hand holding.

You can try this as root user:

yum --reinstall amahi-plex

This will reinstall the app and should fix any issues. We are working on updating amahi-plex to the latest version as you can see in Amahi Bug #1593. Once complete, it should automatically update.

Thanks for replying so quickly - shouldve contact you earlier in the day - it didnt work by the looks of it though

There is an issue with the fedora mirrors is seems. Might try the following as root user first:

I have seen this error before. I presume you can ping google.com, correct?

Might try a reboot.
