So I've had my server up and running for a couple of months and DLNA on it from the beginning. I added some movies to my server and tried watching them on my TV but for whatever reason my TV cannot find the Amahi DLNA server unless I reboot the whole server. I tried going into the server list in the Amahi webpage and restarting the DLNA server but it would never show up as discoverable in the TV until I reboot the whole server. Any ideas on what I need to check on? Thanks.

Hard to say what the cause would be here. Have you checked the internet to see if this is something common with the brand of TV?

I use DLNA with my BlueRay player and have not had any issues.

Is your HDA current on OS updates? Sometimes that makes a difference as there may be app dependencies that are more current than what you have now.
