Right I have worked it out

I was looking around verifying all the repos so I thought I would have a quick look in my yum conf file -

there was a line that said to exclude plex installs?????

nano /etc/yum.conf

Re-installed plex and now it's all working

You may want to investigate that

Interesting. Did you add that line? It should not have gotten added by itself.
