Your best option is to consult the Plex Media Server web site for guidance.

Re: Plex library
Yes we do compile it for Amahi, but it's the Plex Media Server source files. We only compile it for Amahi but do not change anything with the app. The behavior and how it works is not Amahi customized and it works the same on any other OS as it does with Amahi.
So I defer you to the Plex web site for guidance on how to use the application.

Re: Plex library
This is an issue with how the link in the server directs the user. The plexms._._ address should direct the user to ServerIP:32400/web, instead it directs the user to index.html. When I changed the address to plexms._._:32400/web, it came up. Is there a way to fix this and have it direct to the right address? I figured this out from the setup directions on the Plex site.

If you installed the Server on a device like a NAS, or the Server PC is somewhere else in the house, you'll need to know the Server's internal IP Address. Once you know that IP address, on a PC in your home:
Open a browser window
Type http://server.local.ip.address:32400/web into the address bar (e.g "http://192.168.1.5:32400/web")
The browser will connect to the Server and load Plex Web App

Re: Plex library
This is correctly set up in Amahi, but for some reason does not work for all users. Contrary to what you read on the Plex web site, the URL does not have to contain the IP address. That's the purpose of the DNS server. As long as you use Amahi for your DNS server, it should just work.
However, if you are not having success with it, edit /etc/httpd/conf.d/####-plexms.conf and comment out the following two lines:
This is not a bug in the app, but an anomaly with the web server that we have been unable to track down. It does not always happen or affect all users.
However, if you are not having success with it, edit /etc/httpd/conf.d/####-plexms.conf and comment out the following two lines:
Next add these lines:
Now restart the web server:RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{SERVER_PORT} 80
RewriteRule (.*) http://%{HTTP_HOST}:32400/web/ [R,L]
Code: Select all
systemctl restart httpd
