Hi
I run a Logitech Media Server / Squeezebox Server - The repported version (In LMS is 7.7.3) - the Version repported from http://www.amahi.org/apps/logitech-media-server is 7.8.0 - while the last version availiable is
Community branch 7.8.1 http://goo.gl/smjka5
Logitech branch 7.7.4 http://goo.gl/E9L2y7 (from 2014-11-12 so it's fairly new )
I've tried to Uninstall/Install LMS - but still get 7.7.3
Is the info in http://www.amahi.org/apps/logitech-media-server correct, and My server somehow is unable to upgrade (key files remain?)?
-Thanks
LMS Server version (Again?)
Re: LMS Server version (Again?)
What Amahi OS are you using? If it's not Fedora 19, you will not get anything newer than 7.7.3. We do not upgrade Ubuntu or Fedora 14 apps; only the latest stable Amahi OS is supported.
BTW. Logitech Media Server is in BETA for Ubuntu and Fedora 19, so use at your own risk. There may be bugs or it may not work as designed.
Until we can get testers to validate it works correctly on Amahi 7 (Fedora 19), it will not be promoted to LIVE status.

Re: LMS Server version (Again?)
I'm on Fedora 14 - So I'm "out of luck".
The upgrade process to latest Amahi is not so straight forward for various reasons - And as long as Fc14/Amahi6.0 is working...
But Thanks for your feedback!

Understand.
Although not specifically written for Fedora 14, this might help when you are ready to upgrade. It's an HDA OS Migration Guide.
