SOLVED: DLNA App Missing Dependency

I purchased and installed the DLNA app on Amahi 7.1 on Fedora 19 that was installed with the Express CD.

I get a 503 when accessing the app page, and see this in the logs:

amahi minidlnad[1095]: /usr/sbin/minidlnad: error while loading shared libraries: libavformat.so.54: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I was going to install the dependency manually, but wanted to report the issue here.

Recommend you check /var/log/amahi-app-installer.log file for errors.

Please see this thread for the possible solution.

Looks like this is the same error as what you linked.

Following the instructions in 1209 fixed the issue.

I had searched the forums before looking for this issue but was seeing different errors than what was listed in the forums. Only that specific bug had the error I was seeing listed in it and I had not seen that while searching.

Thanks for the link to the bug and the solution.

No problem. The search function in the forums is kind of quirky, so sometimes you don't get the expected results.

Glad it fixed your issue.
