AmahiTunes server stopped

In my Amahi dashboard under 'Settings - - > Servers' my listing for AmahiTunes Server says it is 'stopped'.

I am new to Amahi and still learning. Paid for and installed AmahiTunes and expected it to work out of the box, so to speak. It did not however, I am not ruling out the possibility of operator error (me, the guy installing.)

Amahi running on Ubuntu 12.04 in 32bit version. Computer is a P4 2.8Ghz w/512Mb RAM on a 160Gb hdd (will add second drive later.)

Not sure where to start, I began searching the forum and do not see any entries for AmahiTunes server being stopped.

Where do I look to troubleshoot this issue?

AmahiTunes does not currently work with Ubuntu. We are trying to resolve the issues, but it may remain broken for quite some time. The app requires some packages that are not supported currently in Ubuntu.

Please ensure you check the status of the apps before you install or purchase them. You will see that this is in ALPHA status for Ubuntu.

I apologize for the inconvenience. We will announce once we get it working. As an alternate, you can try the DLNA app or Subsonic. Both allow media streaming.

Thank you for the honesty. I have Subsonic working and I am just exploring my options. I was concerned that Subsonic or AmpJuke could have been interfering with AmahiTunes.

No problem. We want to be honest and up front with users so we provide the most pleasant Amahi experience possible.

I have filed a bug to address this issue. The app is live for Fedora, but not Ubuntu. So we would like for users not to be able to purchase apps that meet this criteria.
