Mediatomb MKV Transcode Issue (SOLVED)

This one is really just a heads up for anyone who's having issues with Mediatomb transcoding MKV files.
I did the one click install of Mediatomb and the got it up and running easily. I was able to configure my scanned folders and my android device's dlna client picked up the mediatomb server with no issues.
The challenge I had was playing MKV files. Avi's played fine, but MKV files would not. I'd get an error something like "Sorry, the video cannot be played" or something similar. Can't reproduce the exact error as I've corrected the issue.
I checked the transcode log files and didn't notice anything specific. I then saw a reference to "mencoder" on one of mediatomb's pages, and on a whim checked to see if it was installed.
I did a "yum install mencoder" and the low and behold mencoder wasn't installed. I also noticed repeated references to mencoder in the transcode log file. So, I had my hopes up that would solve the issue and it did.
No problems transcoding mkv files now.
Hope this helps someone out there.
