However still I want to use amahi as my media server now that I installed it most of the stuff works wonderful.
but one thing I'm too dumb to get it working so far.
I've installed Ampache-App to stream my mp3-collection. This works fine to my PCs, Laptops etc. with additional Software (like Winamp or Mediaplayer) but my AV-Receiver can't do that.
It is only able to connect to Internet-Radiostations.
Now after some hours with google I think it should work somehow with a config like this:
ampache --> mpd --> icecast
Am I wrong here already?
I installed mpd and icecast directly via yum now.
mpd and ampache seem to work together already.
At least that's what the logs tell me...
but icecast does not work as designed and I can't find anything wrong.
Error.log does not say anything really bad imho.
Icecast is running but I can't connect to the admin-pages via browser.
If I try to connect to my-ip:8000/admin I get a answer from firefox that the site is not reachable.
Anyone here able to tell me what I should try next ?
