yesterday i installed minidlna on my amahi-server. without any problem.
i used this tutorial - i think it works flawlessly.

cpg reported, that there are problems with minidlna and amahi. please, could anyone describe those problems??

There is no problems with mindlna. The issues people were having (myself included) was new items, were not showing up in mindlna. The issue was the permissions on the folder were incorrect. Once that gets corrected (if needed) then items were showing up automatically again.
