Had a weird idea pop into my head tonight....
Does MythTV interoperate with Amahi? Could we use the UPNP to stream to other UPNP devices as we do now after recording TV?

yes, this is a good idea!
the back-end is subject to be made a app, for sure, though of course, configuring the tuners, the access to the guide, etc. cannot be automatic, has to be done by the user.
the front end is a different matter, however, with the back-end installed, it would be great to stream things via upnp, for sure!
if you know a bit about the program, you can contribute, ... help package it as an app!
