Hi,
I have music in /home/username/Music. Can read/write there from samba network share. But cannot convince Squeezebox to scan and have library in that directory... It won't show subdirectory username in /home directory so I cannot select it...
Any solution ?
Thanks in advance,
regards,
Bulek.

Hi,
after checkup it seems like permission problem. What user/group are apps running under on Amahi ?
Thanks in advance,

Hello,
If you installed Squeezeboxserver with the 'one-click' Amahi install, it runs as user squeezeboxserver with group squeezeboxserver. So it probably has no access rights to your choosen directory at all. You could either:
- change the access right of the '/home/username/Music' to 777 (as root: chmod -R 777 /home/username/Music) . So it's open to everyone, or
- Add user 'squeezeboxserver' to the group that has access rights to that directory, probably group 'users' (as root: usermod -a -G users squeezeboxserver)
HTH,
Richard
